About the Role
As a School-Based SLPA in Yuma, youll work closely with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver therapy services that help students develop speech, language, and social communication skills. Youll collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for every student you serve.
Responsibilities

Provide direct therapy and communication support under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Support classroom communication activities and data collection.

Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy logs.

Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions when needed.
Qualifications

Active Arizona SLPA license or eligibility to obtain before the school year begins.

Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.

Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.

Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
